If one bothers to listen, he will quickly find that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran is once again warning us of his plan for destruction.
Granted, the man is a total looney tune. Yet this total looney tune is making his very serious intentions clear-over and over again. He is hell bent on destroying Israel and a "peace accord" is the last thing on his mind.
Ahmadinejad said Tuesday that Israel would "be soon swept away" from the "Palestinian Territories" by the "Palestinians." It is the second time within less than three years that the Iranian president predicted the eradication of the Jewish state.
"This terrorist and criminal state is backed by foreign powers, but this regime would soon be swept away by the Palestinians," he said in a press conference in Tehran.
When speaking of the celebrations of Israel's 60th birthday, he said that "it would be futile to hold a birthday ceremony for something which is already dead," and stated that the anniversary feasts could not save its "rotten and stinking corpse."
What will it take the world to wake up about the seriousness of Ahmadinejad's intentions? A nuclear bomb in the heart of Jerusalem or New York City? If anything, we should be thankful that he is crazy enough to give us the heads up in advanced and use it to our advantage.
Nothing is more dangerous that a brainwashed religious zealot with a weapon and a mission. President Ahmadinejad will become the ultimate proof of this statement if he is allowed to go nuclear. He not only wants to destroy what he calls the "Great Satan" and "Little Satan"--as he calls America and Israel--he sees it as his religious duty.

Court Approves "Catastrophe Day" To Mark Israel's Independence
How much more accommodating can Israel get? They are obviously more accommodating than anyone should be to people who hate them and morn their existence.
According to Arutz Sheva, IsraelNationalNews.Com, the Nazareth District Court has allowed the radical anti-Israel Islamic Movement to conduct a Naqba (Catastrophe) ceremony on Israel's Independence Day, next Thursday. Many Arabs believe Independence Day actually marks their own Naqba, and commemorate it as such.
The ruling was given on Thursday after the authorities of the Arab town of Kfar Kana refused to allow the ceremony, claiming it was political in nature. The court rejected this claim, and the anti-Israel ceremony will be held on Israel's actual Independence Day in the Kfar Kana stadium.

Israeli Espionage Against America?
Ben-Ami Kadish, an 83 year old American citizen, was arrested on Tuesday for suspected espionage after he confessed to sharing sensitive classified information with Israeli agents in the 1980s.
"These kinds of activities whether they occurred long in the past or present time are not the kind of actions we would expect from a friend and ally and we would expect that Israel would not be engaged in such activities," State Department spokesman Tom Casey said hours after the story broke.
"We will be discussing, if we haven't already, this issue with the Israelis," said Casey, adding that the arrest does not have any new implications for US national security.
"There is pretty much a zero-tolerance policy for anyone that would engage in sharing that information in an unauthorized way, including countries that are good friends and allies like Israel," he said.
Friends of Ben-Ami Kadish maintain that Kadish is a true American patriot that belongs to a charity group that recently coordinated the donation of over $50,000 worth of equipment to disabled veterans.
The timing of the arrest is curious.
Rumors have been reported that President George W. Bush is considering pardoning Jonathan Pollard, another American citizen who plead guilty to one count of passing classified information to an ally (Israel), without intent to harm the United States in the 1980s. Pollard is currently serving a life sentence without parole.
According to reports, the extent of Pollard's crime involves the passing along of information that Israel was legally entitled to under the 1983, Memorandum of Understanding agreement between the two countries.
It has been reported that Pollard was a civilian American Naval intelligence analyst in the mid 1980s and discovered that information vital to Israel's security was being deliberately withheld by certain elements within the U.S. national security establishment.
The information being withheld from Israel included Syrian, Iraqi, Libyan and Iranian nuclear, chemical, and biological warfare capabilities - being developed for use against Israel. It also included information on ballistic missile development by these countries and information on planned terrorist attacks against Israeli civilian targets.
When Pollard discovered this suppression of information and asked his superiors about it, he was told to "mind his own business", and that "Jews get nervous talking about poison gas; they don't need to know." He also learned that the objective of cutting off the flow of information to Israel was to severely curtail Israel's ability to act independently in defense of her own interests.
Pollard reportedly did everything he possibly could to stop this covert policy and to have the legal flow of information to Israel restored. When his efforts met no success, he began to give the information to Israel directly.
Could it be that the charges against Kadish is simply a smokescreen to prevent the possible release of Pollard?
President Abraham Lincoln once said that "a house divided against itself cannot stand."
If American and Israeli relations are unjustifiably strained, our mutual enemies are the only winners. America must also seriously consider the possibility that enemies may lie within our own camp and I'm not referring to an alleged Israeli spy.

U.N. Walk Out Over Libya's Nazi Camp Remarks
The Jerusalem Post has reported that diplomats from The United States, Britian, France and other countries walked out on a closed door United Nations Security Council meeting late Wednesday after Libya's Ambassador, Ibrahim Dabbashi--the only Arab country representative-- made remarks comparing the current situation of Palestinians in Gaza to what Jews suffered in Nazi concentration camps during World War II .
After the long winded speech that ended in the comparison, diplomats said French Ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert, US deputy ambassador Alejandro Wolff, Britain's deputy ambassador Karen Pierce, Belgian Ambassador Johan Verbeke and Costa Rica's deputy ambassador immediately walked out of the council's consultation room.
South Africa's UN Ambassador Dumisani Kumalo, the current council president, then ended the meeting but would not publicly confirm the walkout. He simply stated that "ambassadors always walk in and out."

Hillary Says She Would Nuke Iran If They Attack Israel
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has recently been trying to convince American voters that she would not be a push over if she where to become Commander in Chief. She has been consistently been stepping up the tough talk and lately she has had a few choice words about Iran and Israel.
During an interview with MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann on Monday, Clinton said that she would warn Iran’s leaders that “their use of nuclear weapons against Israel would provoke a nuclear response from the United States."
In an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, she said “In the next 10 years, during which [the Iranians] might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them. That’s a terrible thing to say but … that perhaps will deter them from doing something that would be reckless, foolish and tragic."
"In the next 10 years, during which [the Iranians] might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."
Has Hillary decided to join the grown ups in the real world now that most of the "liberal loonies" have fell in line behind rival candidate, Barack Obama?

US Policy Bill Condemns Palestinian Attacks Against Israel
The House Committee on Foreign Affairs is now reviewing a bill (H. Res 951) that would condemn Palestinian extremist rocket attacks against Israeli communities such as Sderot and Ashkelon and supports Israel’s effort to justly respond.
U.S. Congressman Scott Garrett (R-NJ) who proposed the bill has released the following information regarding the bill's intentions.
Washington, Feb 25 -Review by the committee is the final stage before the bill is taken to the floor for a vote. A list of committee members and their contact information may be obtained here.
Dear Friends:
Last week, residents of the Israeli community of Sderot organized a peaceful protest in Tel Aviv. Individuals set up tents in the Rabin Square to raise awareness of the continued rocket attacks they have been forced to endure. The protesters have already been visited by Israeli mayors and council heads, and more officials are expected to attend. The Sderot residents have pledged to continue protesting until they get the attention of local and world leaders.
As I’ve stated before, I’ve cosponsored a resolution condemning the terrorists and the Governments of countries that have aided them in these attacks. These violent terrorists must be stopped and held accountable for their inhumane actions. Intelligence sources tell us that Iran and Syria have both provided the technical expertise necessary for Hamas to launch rockets.
My bill, H.Res 951, has already gained large bipartisan support. There are currently 132 cosponsors, including former Chairman of the Financial Services Committee Rep. Tom Lantos. H.Res 951 is expected to be addressed by the Foreign Affairs Committee this week. I hope that the committee can agree to the fact that Congress can’t waste anymore time, we must stand up for the victims in Israel by bringing this bill to the floor.
Sincerely,
Scott Garrett
Member of congress
Constituents may contact their indivdual representatives to request support here.

Obama's Terrorist Ties
Senator helped fund organization that rejects 'racist' Israel's existence
JERUSALEM – The board of a nonprofit organization on which Sen. Barack Obama served as a paid director alongside a confessed domestic terrorist granted funding to a controversial Arab group that mourns the establishment of Israel as a "catastrophe" and supports intense immigration reform, including providing drivers licenses and education to illegal aliens.

The New-clear News On Iran
As liberals prepare to sit around the campfire and sing Kumbaya with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, it is time for a reality check.
There are some facts that have not changed regarding Iran.
Arms believed to have been manufactured in Iran as recently as last year have turned up in Sunni-majority areas as well as in the hands of Shiite extremists.
In Feb. 2003, inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations nuclear watchdog agency, found evidence that Iran had secretly begun enriching uranium and it has continued to do so to date, regardless of warnings and sanctions.
Iran has proved that it has blueprints for nuclear warheads and even handed over some of the copies to the IAEA.
How did they get them? According to former US Justice Department official Mark Levin, at least some of these plans were provided by former U.S. President Bill Clinton in a harebrained scheme called Operation Merlin.
During Operation Merlin the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency under the approval of Bill Clinton turned over flawed plans for a "firing set" for a nuclear weapon to the Iranians through an unnamed scientist who was a defector from the Soviet Union.
The Russian was told by CIA officers that the Iranians already had the technology detailed in the plans and that the ruse was simply an attempt by the agency to find out the full scope of Tehran's nuclear knowledge.
But, contrary to orders not to open the packet, he added a note which made it clear he could help fix the flaws for money.
Mark Levin, director of the Landmark Legal Foundation, said that thanks to Clinton Iran was able to "leapfrog one of the last remaining engineering hurdles blocking its path to a nuclear weapon."
Iran doesn't yet have Nuclear weapons. So what? Neither does Al-Qaeda at the moment or we would already be toast. That doesn't mean that they don't continue to be a terrorist threat that is actively seeking the opportunity to obtain them.

Iran Steps Up Rhetoric and Attempts To Sway Turkey
In attempts to sway support from Turkey, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki insisted on Sunday that "terrorist activities" have increased in northern Iraq since "foreign forces" arrived there. He also said that from the Iranian point of view, Washington is the mastermind of the Kurdish "terrorist attacks" on Turkey and that it is being done with Israeli support.
Turkey Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, whom was in Iran asking for their support against attacks by Kurtish rebels, expressed gratitude for Iran's cooperation but did not back accusations against the U.S. and Israel, which are allies of Turkey.
The U.S. Military says that the 107mm rocket fired upon a U.S. base southeast of Baghdad on October 23rd was made in Iran sometime in March. I believe this discovery to be far more telling of where responsibility lies for instability and terrorism in Iraq.

Top Tier GOP Hopefuls On Standing With Israel

Rudy Giuliani told the Republican Jewish Coalition on Tuesday that he once had the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat thrown out of a concert for U.N. diplomats at the Lincoln Center. In Jerusalem in 2001, he said "The people of Jerusalem and the people of New York City are shoulder-to-shoulder; and the people of America and the people of Israel are shoulder-to-shoulder in the fight against terrorism." Giuliani, as mayor of New York City, also returned a $10 million donation from a Saudi prince after 9/11 due to the comments he made on Israel and the Palestinians.
Romney told the Republican Jewish Coalition on Tuesday that as Governor of Massachusetts he once refused to provide a security escort for former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami's trip from the airport to a Harvard University address. In an official statement in 2006 he said "State taxpayers should not be providing special treatment to an individual who supports violent jihad and the destruction of Israel."
Mike Huckabee has an entire section devoted to Israel on his official website and has the following to say. "The United States must remain true to its long-standing, bipartisan commitment to the Israelis. I will always ensure that Israel has access to the state-of-the-art weapons and technology she needs to defend herself from those who seek her annihilation".
Fred Thompson as a senator was one of the sponsors of the Jerusalem Embassy Act demanding that the US government move its embassy to the Israeli capital in defiance of Palestinian claims to the city. He had the following to say to National Review Online. "Let me ask you a hypothetical question. What do you think America would do if Canadian soldiers were firing dozens of missiles every day into Buffalo, N.Y.? What do you think our response would be if Mexican troops for two years had launched daily rocket attacks on San Diego — and bragged about it?"
Sen. John McCain called Israel a “great democracy” and proclaimed that the United States “will defeat terrorism against America, and we will stand with Israel as she fights the same enemy,” in his address at Yeshiva University’s 82nd Annual Hanukkah Dinner and Convocation on Dec. 10, 2006 at The Waldorf-Astoria.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that "Israel's Zionist regime should be wiped off the map. All candidates attending the Republican Jewish Coalition on Tuesday said they would be prepared as president to use military force against Iran to stop it from getting nuclear weapons.
Let's hope for the sake of Israel and America, that these candidates stick to their guns if elected.
