Have the WMD's of Iraq finally been found?

Why did the U.S. fail to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq after the invasion? Was it because they did not exist to begin with as so many liberals have gleefully claimed? The answer may be "no" according to a report from The Jerusalem Post. The weapons may have simply been relocated to Syria prior to the invasion.

An upcoming joint US-Israel report on the September 6 IAF strike on a Syrian facility will claim that former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein transferred weapons of mass destruction to the country, Channel 2 stated Monday.

Furthermore, according to a report leaked to the TV channel, Syria has arrested 10 intelligence officials following the assassination of Hizbullah terror chief Imad Mughniyeh.
The possibility of Iran's Syrian buddies having their hands on Saddam's toys is scary-to say the least.

Saddam Picked Up Tab For Dem Congressional Trip

On Wednesday the unsealed Justice Department indictment against Muthanna Al-Hanooti-a top official for a Detroit based Muslim charity called Life for Relief-reflects that Saddam Hussein’s principal foreign intelligence paid for a 2002 widely criticized visit to Iraq by three House Democrats.

Al-Hanooti is charged with conspiring to act as an agent of the Iraqi government, violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act by illegally obtaining the Iraqi oil contract, and three counts of making false statements to FBI agents.

Al-Hanooti, who was arrested at Detroit Metropolitan Airport Tuesday night after returning from a trip to the Middle East is said to have planned and organized the trip of House Democrats Jim McDermott of Washington State, Mike Thompson of California and the now retired David E. Bonior of Michigan.

All three congressional members making the trip were against a war with Iraq and McDermott charged that President George W. Bush was willing to "mislead the American people" about the need for war.

Republicans blasted the delegation members at the time claiming that they sounded like spokesmen for the Iraqi government. Apparently their reflections were not too far fetched.

Fallen Marine Private Receives Silver Star

Today we are saluting a true American hero-Sean Andrew Stokes.

Due to his heroic actions in Fallujah, Stokes was posthumously awarded the Silver Star last week on Feb. 6, which would have been his 25 birthday. His father, Gary Stokes accepted it for him. He was just the third Private to receive this medal in 40 years, and the first in this war.

Here is a little about his story.

House Dems Push Through Bill To Withdraw Troops From Iraq

Due to undeniably successful developments, President George W. Bush has already begun the process of reducing the amount of U.S. troops serving in Iraq.

However this has not deterred Nancy Pelosi's nighttime pony shows aimed at symbolically benefiting the far left.

On November 14, House Dems successfully passed a $50 million dollar war funding bill with the requirement that Bush begin to reduce troops levels and set the goal to end combat by December 2008.

"Staying there in the manner that we are there is no longer an option," said Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The bill will most likely not pass the Senate much less overcome a presidential veto.

An administration statement said "These votes, like the dozens of previous failed votes, put the interests of radical interest groups ahead of the needs of our military and their mission."

It appears that Nancy Pelosi and other far left Democrats plan on waiving white flags at America's enemies until the bitter end.

Lieberman Warns of Dangers and Pelosi Seeks To Cut Iraq Funding

During a speech at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies on November 08, 2007, Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut gave a speech that hits at the very core of America's greatest security risk.

"For many Democrats, the guiding conviction in foreign policy isn't pacifism or isolationism, it is distrust and disdain of Republicans in general, and President Bush in particular," he said.

He also spoke about the dangers of Democratic leaders bowing to the unrealistic antics of the far left.
"There is likewise something profoundly wrong when we see candidates who are willing to pander to this politically paranoid, hyper-partisan sentiment in the Democratic base, even if it sends a message of weakness and division to the Iranian regime," he said.

Today Nancy Pelosi is expected to once again push for a vote that would remove troops from Iraq where Iran appears to be fighting a proxy war with the U.S. Her aim is to dramatically cut funding that would necessitate an immediate draw down of troops. She said she would end Bush's belief that congress was the "ATM" for this war.

The war in Vietnam cost
us approximately 58,000 lives and approximately 350,000 casualties and was not lost on a foreign battlefield. America lost the war in its own capitol city and America's enemies are well aware of this fact.

It appears that once again a foreign foe is enjoying the benefits of representation in Washington due to the selfish interests of a disillusioned few.

Westboro Church Founder A Democratic Politician Honored By NAACP

Much has been said recently in the media about the group known as "Westboro Baptist Church" that protests at the funerals of dead soldiers by carrying signs proclaiming such messages as "Thank God for dead soldiers." However little has been said about the group's founder, Frederick Waldron Phelps. Many may find it quite interesting that Phelp's ties and activities reach far beyond that of the organization he founded.

Phelps was born in Mississippi, in 1929. He became an attorney and was awarded special honors by the NAACP for cases he tried in the 1970s and 80s. However he was permanently disbarred from practicing law in 1987 for slander, libel, extortion, and harassment.

Phelps is a registered Democrat that has ran for the Democratic primary for governor in Kansas three times (1990, 1994, and 1998). He was ranked as the 5th "Most Interesting People in Politics" by John F. Kennedy, Jr., in George Magazine.

It appears his actions with one group overshadows those with others.

Protesters at Soldier's Funeral Ordered to Pay $10.9 Million

Albert Snyder of York, Pa, sobbed as the $10.9 million victory was read in his suit against protesters of his fallen son's funeral.

His son, Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, was killed during his duty as a U.S. Marine in the war in Iraq. He should have been given the peaceful and respectful burial that is befitting of a hero. Instead his ceremony was plagued with protesters carrying signs displaying such messages as "Thank God for dead soldiers."

It is unclear however what if any amount of the awarded damages Snyder will actually receive. The defense attorney for the protesting organization stated that it has combined assets totaling less than a million dollars.

The organization, deceptively named Westboro Baptist Church, is not affiliated with any Baptist associations or conventions and has been widely seen as a cult. It has routinely protested at soldier's funerals all over the U.S. and claims that it will continue to do so.

Members of the organization also protested outside of the courtroom. Founder Fred Phelps carried a sign reading "God is your enemy," while his daughter Shirley Phelps-Roper stood on an American flag while carrying a sign that read "God hates fag enablers." "God Hates America"' to the tune of "God Bless America" was sang by all.

Iran Steps Up Rhetoric and Attempts To Sway Turkey

In attempts to sway support from Turkey, Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki insisted on Sunday that "terrorist activities" have increased in northern Iraq since "foreign forces" arrived there. He also said that from the Iranian point of view, Washington is the mastermind of the Kurdish "terrorist attacks" on Turkey and that it is being done with Israeli support.

Turkey Foreign Minister Ali Babacan, whom was in Iran asking for their support against attacks by Kurtish rebels, expressed gratitude for Iran's cooperation but did not back accusations against the U.S. and Israel, which are allies of Turkey.

The U.S. Military says that the 107mm rocket fired upon a U.S. base southeast of Baghdad on October 23rd was made in Iran sometime in March. I believe this discovery to be far more telling of where responsibility lies for instability and terrorism in Iraq.

Father of Marine Killed in Iraq Appeals to Public for Help

Albert Snyder, the father of fallen soldier Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, took the stand this week in his suit against protesters at his son's funeral.

"They turned this funeral into a media circus and they wanted to hurt my family," Snyder said. "They wanted their message heard and they didn't care who they stepped over. My son should have been buried with dignity, not with a bunch of clowns outside." When asked about a sign from the protesters that read "Thank God for dead soldiers," Albert Snyder said he thinks about it daily.

The protesting organization located in Topeka, KS issued statements saying that Snyder's son was raised to support the "Roman Catholic monstrosity" and was then sent to fight for the "United States of Sodomy." It routinely stages protests outside of funerals held for soldiers all over the USA.

The organization goes by the name "The Westboro Baptist Church". However this is no church and it's certainly not of the Baptist denomination. The biblical definition of "church" is the body of Christ and this organization by no means appears to fit that definition. This is an organization that is not affiliated with any Baptist organization and preaches how God hates pretty much everyone. It is the doctrine of Baptist organizations that God loved sinners so much that he sent his only son to die for them so that they may be forgiven.

The Snyder family's suit against the organization could cost close to $100,000 and Albert Snyder is asking for help. This suit if successful could dramatically reduce the groups ability for continued protests at other soldiers funerals. The father has the following to say via his site regarding any funds that are received.

In the event that more money is received than necessary to pay for the costs associated with my lawsuit against Phelps and his clan, any excess money will go to benefit veterans returning from the war, in the form of a scholarship. No donations will be paid to me. Your money will be put to good use. First, we will be able to fight back against Phelps and his followers when they retaliate (they have already threatened to do so). Second, if there is excess money, a well deserved veteran will receive help to further his or her education. Again, I will not personally receive ANY money.

I am asking my readers to please pray for this family for power over the enemy and comfort in the spirit. I also ask you to pray for true wisdom for this organization that calls itself a church.

For those who find themselves blessed enough, I ask you to please consider a donation to this family through the following link: http://www.matthewsnyder.org./

Tell them a "Southern Baptist" sent you with love in the name of Jesus.

Somewhere In California, A Confused Liberal Scratches Their Head

A post office in Paso Robles, CA has been proudly displaying photos of local men and women serving their country in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001. The photos have greeted customers every day without hesitation until one individual customer found that gazing upon the faces of those risking their lives for his or her freedom offensive and labeled it as "pro-war" tribute.

When the local post master refused to buckle under the numerous complaints of one individual, the customer took the complaints to a higher level. This resulted in what was thought to be the indefinite removal of the photos. However this time the story does not end with one individual's warped sense of politics being satisfied at the expense of heartaches to thousands.

Congressman Kevin McCarthy (R-Bakersfield) took quick action after receiving dozens of phone calls from constituents upset about the removal. He vowed to have the photos returned even if he had to change postal regulations to do it.

It appears that McCarthy and the barrage of email and calls to the post office did the trick. We have now received reports that the Paso Robles, CA post office has returned the photos to their rightful spot with the blessings of the USPS.

Somewhere in California there is a confused liberal scratching their head and most likely thinking something along the following lines. "What happened? I thought this was about me!"

California Post Office Forced To Remove Pics of U.S. Soldiers

It never fails to amaze me how a low level, unelected government bureaucrat feels the need to offend the masses and disrespect those most deserving in order to satisfy the warped political views of a minor few. This process seems to take place most often in the state of California and this fact has never been more apparent than it is today.

A post office in Paso Robles, California has been displaying pictures of local soldiers serving in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001. However, postal customers arrived on Friday to find that they were ripped away. There were signs on the counter that gave customers the following explanation. "We are being forced to remove the pictures from out wall of our boys and girls in the military. Please ask for your pictures back.”

Apparently seeing the faces of soldiers who risk their lives every day for our freedom and security offended one customer. When this one individual complained about a "pro-war" display to the regional postal center, Paso Robles postmaster Mike Milby and his staff were forced to take them down.

"We just cannot put those photos back up, they should not have been up there to begin with," said United States Postal Service spokesperson Richard Maher.

Maybe it's time for those of us whom are "pro-troops" to express our opinions to the U.S. Postal Service and Mr. Maher.
