The Biden Vs. Bush Debate? "Say It Ain't So Joe!"

Governor Sarah Palin may have started out nervous in Thursday's Vice Presidential debate but when it became apparent that Sen. Joe Biden preferred to spend the majority of the evening debating President George W. Bush, things quickly turned around. After Biden refused to heed a friendly reminder from Palin that he served a campaign stumping change and a look towards the future, she quickly became comfortable with the humor in the situation.

"Say it ain't so, Joe! There you go again pointing backwards again. You preferenced your whole comment with the Bush administration. Now doggone it, let's look ahead and tell Americans what we have to plan to do for them in the future," said Palin. "

Palin also hit home on Biden's inconsistencies with foreign policy in what she called the "I was for it before I was against it or vice-versa" strategy. She expressed her amusement at Biden's current bashing of McCain's foreign policy plans.

"You supported John McCain's military strategies pretty adamantly until this race" and "opposed very adamantly Barack Obama's military strategy," said Palin. She also reminded Biden that before his V.P. nod, he had stated that Sen. Barack Obama was "not ready to become Commander-in-Chief."
