Gov. Mike Huckabee joined McCain's bus tour through Arkansas today to aid McCain in his campaign through the state.
McCain spoke of the millions of votes Huckabee received during his own presidential campaign and how he thought Huckabee would be very helpful to his campaign-particularly in the south. He said he would appear with Huckabee, who has a 65% approval rating in Arkansas, at every possible opportunity.
McCain also spoke of his VP list. He said he did not want to release names because he feared it would lead to the invasion of the individual's privacy but then strongly reiterated that he would strongly rely on Huckabee for many things and that he feels Huckabee does have a "greater service to render to this nation."

I attending the first republican dabate in South Carolina. The one that I walked away feeling like they were the most sincere and honest was Huckabee. I liked what he had to say and the fact that he believed what he was saying.
